The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) and the host Bloomer Blackhawks (Bloomer, WI), observed Pleasant Valley's basketball team overwhelm Bloomer by a margin of 67-45.

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Davenport North (Davenport, IA). The Wildcats come into the Mississippi challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Davenport North trounced Geneseo (Geneseo, IL), 67-23, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blackhawks battle the Colfax Vikings (Colfax, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Bloomer will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record.
