The Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) basketball edged the host Bullis Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), 49-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host McKinley Tech for a DCIAA bout on Monday, January 6.
With the loss, Bullis falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD) to play the Little Hoyas in a Interstate Athletic bout on Thursday, January 9. The Little Hoyas go into the bout with a record of 6-6.
