Ohio High School Basketball - St. Xavier tipped by Covington Catholic

The Covington Catholic Colonels nipped the host St. Xavier Bombers basketball squad by a final score of 55-53 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Colonels clash with the Conner Cougars (Hebron, KY) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Covington Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 9-4 record after their 72-67 non-league win over Holy Cross (Covington, KY).

The Bombers (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Beavercreek (Beavercreek, OH). The Beavers enter the non-league outing with a 4-5 record. In their last outing, Beavercreek was nipped by Springboro (Springboro, OH), 55-49, in a league outing.
