The Southland Rebels basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Dover-Eyota Eagles to 47 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Rebels now have a 10-0 record. They play next when they host Lanesboro for a A Section 1 game on Monday, January 6. Southland will confront a Burros team coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Burros record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Dover-Eyota falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Fillmore Central (Harmony, MN) to confront the Falcons in a A Section 1 game on Monday, January 6. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 3-8. Fillmore Central won 77-72 in their recent non-league game against Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN)
