The Elks (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 6-2 record. In their last challenge, Champlin Park edged Anoka (Anoka, MN), 86-85, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Duluth East will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 65-62 non-league win over Milaca (Milaca, MN).
