The Erie-Prophetstown Panthers basketball team scored 30 points and limited the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles to 25 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Panthers now have a 6-7 record. They play next when they host Mendota for a Three Rivers - East game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Mercer County falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Macomb (Macomb, IL) to confront the Bombers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Bombers go into the game with a record of 11-2.
