California High School Basketball - Firebaugh triumphant over Middle College

January 4, 2025: Lynwood, CA 90262

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) and the visiting Middle College Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), observed Firebaugh's basketball team overwhelm Middle College by a score of 75-35.

The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Compton (Compton, CA). The Tarbabes come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Compton was routed by Serra (Gardena, CA), 88-73, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Stella High Charter Academy Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Crosstown challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Middle College will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 69-42 league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA).
