Next, the Buffaloes encounter the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a Three Rivers test, on Tuesday, January 7. Floyd County will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 6-6 record after their 32-24 non-league win over Faith Christian (Roanoke, VA).

The Eagles (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Vikings come into the Blue Ridge test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Northside was routed by Glass (Lynchburg, VA), 50-49, in a non-league test.
