New York High School Basketball - Glens Falls nudges Ridgewood

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Glens Falls Black Bears (Glens Falls, NY) and the visiting Ridgewood Maroons (Ridgewood, NJ), observed Glens Falls's basketball team edge Ridgewood by a score of 48-45.

The Black Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY). The Horses come into the Section 2 Foothills challenge with a 2-3 record.

In their next game, the Maroons encounter the Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ) in a Big North - Freedom challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Ridgewood will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record.
