In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hill City Rangers basketball team scored a good 55-41 triumph over the Waubay/Summit Mustangs.
The Rangers (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD). The Comets go into the A Region 8 contest with a 8-0 record. In their last contest, Rapid City Christian topped Trinity (Dickinson, ND), 66-38, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Langford Lions (Langford, SD) in a B Region 1 contest, on Thursday, January 9. Waubay/Summit will attempt to better on its 3-4 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-4 record after their 67-47 non-league win over Redfield (Redfield, SD).
