Arizona High School Basketball - St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy routs Ironwood

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors basketball team scored a big 61-40 triumph over the Ironwood Eagles.

The Warriors (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA). The Swordsmen go into the Del Rey contest with a 10-8 record.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 8. Ironwood will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 68-47 non-league win over Atascocita (Humble, TX).
