Oregon High School Basketball - Taft victorious over Junction City

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Taft Tigers basketball team scored a good 65-49 triumph over the Junction City Tigers.
The Tigers (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Blanchet Catholic (Salem, OR). The Cavaliers go into the 3A PacWest contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Blanchet Catholic was topped by Stanfield (Stanfield, OR), 64-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Marshfield Pirates (Coos Bay, OR) in a 4A Sky Em contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Junction City will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Pirates go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 88-28 non-league win over Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR).
