The Kiona-Benton Bears basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Wenatchee Panthers to 54 in the Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bears now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Connell for a 1A South Central game on Friday, January 10.

With the loss, Wenatchee falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Eisenhower (Yakima, WA) to play the Cadets in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 game on Friday, January 10. The Cadets go into the game with a record of 3-5. Eisenhower lost 78-43 in their recent non-league game against Roosevelt (Seattle, WA)
