The Lobos (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Palmdale (Palmdale, CA). The Falcons come into the Golden challenge with a 3-11 record. In their last challenge, Palmdale was routed by Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA), 97-38, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers encounter the Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) in a Citrus Coast challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Nordhoff will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 61-37 non-league win over Buena (Ventura, CA).
