The Magdalena Steers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Tularosa Wildcats to 21 in the Steers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Steers now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ramah for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7.
With the loss, Tularosa falls to 6-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 8-3. Hot Springs won 44-33 in their recent non-league game against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)
