With the victory, Meridian advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Petal (Petal, MS) to meet the Panthers in a 7A Region 3 battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers enter the battle with a record of 7-12.
The Greyhounds now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gulfport for a 7A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Ocean Springs will meet a Admirals squad coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Picayune (Picayune, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 15-1.
