The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) and the visiting Parma Panthers (Parma, ID), observed Vale's basketball team overcome Parma by a score of 69-59.
The Vikings (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Weiser (Weiser, ID). The Wolverines come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Weiser dropped by Cole Valley Christian (Meridian, ID), 57-45, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Fruitland Grizzlies (Fruitland, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Parma will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 66-58 non-league win over Buhl (Buhl, ID).
