The Mustangs (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS). The Blue Devils come into the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 7-7 record.

In their next game, the Panthers encounter the West Harrison Hurricanes (Gulfport, MS) in a 6A Region 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Pascagoula will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 55-50 non-league win over St. Stanislaus (Bay St. Louis, MS).
