In Saturday's non-league contest, the host South Plaquemines Hurricanes basketball team scored a close 32-26 triumph over the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers.
The Hurricanes (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glen Oaks (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 11-16 record.
