New York High School Basketball - Potsdam held off by South Jefferson

January 4, 2025: Adams, NY 13605

In Saturday's non-league test, the South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) basketball squad got by the visiting Potsdam Sandstoners (Potsdam, NY), by a score of 53-50.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Lowville Red Raiders (Lowville, NY) in a Section 3 Frontier B test, on Wednesday, January 8. South Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Red Raiders come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 68-55 non-league loss to Skaneateles (Skaneateles, NY).

The Sandstoners (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, NY). The Golden Bears come into the Section 10 Central test with a 4-2 record.
