In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Rehoboth Christian Lynx basketball team scored a good 54-44 win over the Shiprock Chieftains.
The Lynx (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks come into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Legacy Academy defeated Cottonwood Classical Prep (Albuquerque, NM), 61-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chieftains battle the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Shiprock will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Wolverines come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 68-54 non-league loss to Aztec (Aztec, NM).
