In Saturday's non-league test, the Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) basketball squad trounced the host St. John Bosco Academy Patriots (Cottonwood, ID), by a score of 69-36.
Next, the Savages encounter the Ririe Bulldogs (Ririe, ID) in a 3A Nuclear test, on Tuesday, January 7. Salmon will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to West Side (Dayton, ID).
The Patriots (0-8) will now prepare for their test against Nezperce (Nezperce, ID). The Nighthawks come into the 1A White Pine test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Nezperce was routed by Grangeville (Grangeville, ID), 69-53, in a non-league test.
