The St. Francis Indian Warriors basketball squad (St. Francis, SD), was crushed 69-48 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD)
With the victory, West Central advances its record to 6-0 on the year. The Trojans host Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD) to meet the Chargers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers enter the battle with a record of 4-0. Sioux Falls Christian won 71-50 in their recent non-league battle against Coronado (Henderson, NV)
The Warriors now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a A Region 7 battle on Thursday, January 9. St. Francis Indian will meet a Thorpes squad coming off a 65-45 non-league loss to Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 5-6.
