The Tri-Township Tigers got by the visiting Whiting Oilers basketball squad by a final score of 60-57 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) in a Porter County outing, on Friday, January 10. Tri-Township will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record.

The Oilers (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Bowman Academy (Gary, IN). The Eagles come into the non-league outing with a 2-7 record.
