In Saturday's non-league test, the Ballard Memorial Bombers (Barlow, KY) basketball squad got by the visiting Webster County Trojans (Dixon, KY), by a score of 42-39.
Next, the Bombers encounter the Mayfield Cardinals (Mayfield, KY) in a District 3 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Ballard Memorial will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 44-24 non-league loss to Marshall County (Benton, KY).
