The Pierce Bluejays were victorious over the host Boone Central Cardinals basketball squad by a final score of 45-36 in Saturday's league outing.

Next, the Bluejays clash with the Aquinas Monarchs (David City, NE) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, January 9. Pierce will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record.

The Cardinals (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE). The Eagles enter the C1 District 8 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, O'Neill was defeated by Crofton (Crofton, NE), 63-23, in a non-league outing.
