The Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), 60-39 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Wolves now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Discovery for a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Monday, January 6. Buford will play a Titans team coming off a 42-38 non-league win over Duluth (Duluth, GA). The Titans record now stands at 11-5.
With the loss, Gainesville falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Red elephants travel to Milton (Milton, GA) to play the Eagles in a AAAAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Milton won 57-33 in their recent non-league bout against Griffin (Griffin, GA)
