The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Orange Lutheran Lancers (Orange, CA) and the host Coronado Cougars (Henderson, NV), observed Orange Lutheran's basketball team knock off Coronado by a score of 58-49.

The Lancers (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against San Clemente (San Clemente, CA). The Tritons come into the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, San Clemente prevailed over Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA), 55-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Faith Lutheran Crusaders (Las Vegas, NV) in a 5A Southern challenge, on Friday, January 10. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 55-38 league win over Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV).
