The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Legacy Tigers (South Gate, CA) and the visiting Crenshaw Cougars (Los Angeles, CA), observed Legacy's basketball team knock off Crenshaw by a score of 60-40.

The Tigers (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South East (South Gate, CA). The Jaguars come into the Eastern challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, South East dropped by Marquez (Huntington Park, CA), 42-34, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the GALA Goddesses (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coliseum challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Crenshaw will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Goddesses come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 26-20 non-league loss to Fremont (Los Angeles, CA).
