In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting DeWitt Panthers basketball team scored a big 71-34 win over the Traverse City West Titans.
The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Lansing (East Lansing, MI). The Trojans come into the Capital Area - Blue contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, East Lansing was trounced by Tecumseh (Tecumseh, MI), 77-45, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) in a Big North contest, on Friday, January 10. Traverse City West will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 51-49 league win over Petoskey (Petoskey, MI).
