North Carolina High School Basketball - Garner overwhelms Northwest Halifax

The Garner Trojans basketball team scored 74 points and limited the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings to 22 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Fuquay - Varina for a 4A Greater Neuse River game on Tuesday, January 7. Garner will confront a Bengals team coming off a 63-13 league loss to Southeast Raleigh (Raleigh, NC). The Bengals record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Northwest Halifax falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC) to confront the Warriors in a 1A Tar Roanoke game on Tuesday, January 7. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 5-4. North Edgecombe won 67-43 in their recent league game against Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC)
