The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Gering Bulldogs (Gering, NE) and the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), observed Gering's basketball team overwhelm Lexington by a score of 70-36.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Crete (Crete, NE). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Crete trounced Mercy (Omaha, NE), 57-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Minutemen encounter the Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) in a B District 7 challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Lexington will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
