The Greenforest Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Sprayberry Yellow Jackets to 32 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Lamar County for a A D1 Region 4 game on Tuesday, January 7. Greenforest will confront a Trojans team coming off a 59-28 non-league win over Brookstone (Columbus, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Sprayberry falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Creekview (Canton, GA) to confront the Grizzlies in a AAAAA Region 6 game on Tuesday, January 7. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 12-3. Creekview won 73-12 in their recent non-league game against Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA)
