North Carolina High School Basketball - Providence Day fells Greensboro Day School

The Providence Day Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Greensboro Day School Bengals to 50 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Chargers now have a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Covenant Day for a NCISAA Charlotte Independent game on Tuesday, January 7. Providence Day will confront a Lions team coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC). The Lions record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Greensboro Day School falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Bengals host Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) to confront the Furies in a NCISAA Piedmont game on Tuesday, January 7. The Furies go into the game with a record of 5-7. Forsyth Country Day won 59-56 in their recent non-league game against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
