The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Nashville Hornets (Nashville, IL) and the host Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL), observed Nashville's basketball team overwhelm Greenville by a score of 51-18.

The Hornets (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Marion (Marion, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Marion trounced Mattoon (Mattoon, IL), 61-30, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Thursday, January 9. Greenville will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record.
