Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet Central overwhelmed by Mother McAuley

In Saturday's non-league test, the Mother McAuley Mighty Macs (Chicago, IL) basketball squad trounced the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), by a score of 52-29.

Next, the Mighty Macs encounter the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Mother McAuley will attempt to improve on its 12-6 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 5-10 record after their 52-44 non-league loss to Batavia (Batavia, IL).

The Steelmen (8-9) will now prepare for their test against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Joliet Catholic bounced Reavis (Burbank, IL), 51-33, in a non-league test.
