Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Nutley Maroon Raiders (Nutley, NJ), 43-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Montclair advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Mounties host Summit (Summit, NJ) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 2-3.
The Maroon Raiders now own a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomfield for a Super Essex - Liberty match on Monday, January 6.
