In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Washburn Millers basketball team scored a good 56-36 triumph over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders.
The Millers (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Minneapolis South (Minneapolis, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Minneapolis South topped Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN), 57-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Milaca Wolves (Milaca, MN) in a AA Section 6 contest, on Monday, January 6. St. Cloud Cathedral will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 72-53 league loss to Sauk Centre (Sauk Centre, MN).
