In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Warsaw Tigers basketball team scored a good 45-27 triumph over the Chesterton Trojans.
The Tigers (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Northridge (Middlebury, IN). The Raiders go into the contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Northridge topped Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN), 40-13, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Washington Township Senators (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Chesterton will attempt to better on its 9-5 season record. The Senators go into the contest with a 3-1 record after their 33-23 non-league win over West Central (Francesville, IN).
