In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Somonauk Bobcats basketball team scored a good 31-21 triumph over the Plano Reapers.

The Bobcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Sandwich (Sandwich, IL). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record.

In their next game, the Reapers battle the Richmond-Burton Rockets (Richmond, IL) in a contest, on Saturday, January 11. Plano will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record.
