The Arete Prep CHARGERS soccer team (Gilbert, AZ), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Saturday's non-league match with the host Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ)
With the triumph, Mingus moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to meet the Badgers in a 4A Grand Canyon match on Tuesday, January 14. The Badgers come into the match with a record of 3-0.
The CHARGERS now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Tonopah Valley for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Arete Prep will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Page (Page, AZ). The Phoenix record now stands at 0-5.
