In Saturday's non-league test, the Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) ice hockey squad bounced the host Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN), by a tally of 6-0.
Next, the Skippers face the Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 8. Minnetonka will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Zephyrs come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 4-3 non-league win over Orono (Long Lake, MN).
The Pioneers (9-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Thomas Academy (Mendota Heights, MN). The Cadets come into the non-league test with a 9-2 record. In their last test, St. Thomas Academy was ripped by Moorhead (Moorhead, MN), 2-1, in a non-league test.
