In Saturday's non-league test, the Granger Spartans (Granger, WA) basketball squad defeated the visiting La Salle Lightning (Union Gap, WA), by a score of 47-39.
Next, the Spartans clash with the Columbia Coyotes (Burbank, WA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. Granger will attempt to improve on its 8-0 season record. The Coyotes come into the test with a 9-2 record after their 81-57 non-league loss to Selah (Selah, WA).
The Lightning (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Cle Elum-Roslyn (Cle Elum, WA). The Warriors come into the non-league test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Cle Elum-Roslyn went down by Brewster (Brewster, WA), 59-51, in a non-league test.
