The North Salinas Vikings basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Oak Grove Eagles to 45 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greenfield for a game on Monday, January 6.

With the loss, Oak Grove falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Independence (San Jose, CA) to confront the 76ers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The 76ers go into the game with a record of 3-5. Independence lost 53-48 in their recent non-league game against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
