Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Antioch Panthers (Antioch, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Granada moves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Matadors host Foothill (Pleasanton, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a East Bay test on Thursday, January 9. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 5-4. Foothill won 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Kennedy (Richmond, CA)

Next up, the Panthers battle the Deer Valley Wolverines (Antioch, CA) in a Bay Valley battle, on Tuesday, January 7. Antioch will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA).
