The Emerson Mavericks soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Davenport Wolves to 1 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mavericks now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Legacy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Emerson will play a Leopards squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Davenport moves to 0-2 on the year. The Wolves travel to Southwest (San Antonio, TX) to play the Dragons in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Southwest won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Ridge (Round Rock, TX)
