Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Livonia Wildcats (Livonia, LA), saw Parkview Baptist's soccer squad hold off Livonia by a count of 3-2.

The Eagles (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Panthers enter the Division III District 5 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, McKinley was edged by Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) in a Division II District 6 battle, on Monday, January 6. Livonia will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans enter the battle with a 10-1 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Erath (Erath, LA).
