In Saturday's non-league outing, the host St. Charles Catholic Comets soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the New Iberia Yellowjackets.
The Comets (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Catholic - N.I. Comeaux (Lafayette, LA), 1-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Yellowjackets play the Episcopal of Acadiana Falcons (Cade, LA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. New Iberia will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
