With the triumph, Steele moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Hays (Buda, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-0. Hays won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg, TX)

The Ducks now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host La Grange for a 4A Region 3 District 24 test on Tuesday, January 14.
