The Licking Heights Hornets basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Newark Catholic Green Wave to 39 in the Hornets league victory on Wednesday.
The Hornets now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Zanesville for a Licking County - Buckeye bout on Saturday, January 8. Licking Heights will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 60-31 league loss to Heath (Heath, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-8.
